Founding LLM Engineer

About the Role

As a Founding LLM Engineer at Cenna, you'll be at the forefront of developing our AI-powered security solutions. You'll work on designing, implementing, and optimizing large language models for security applications, creating intelligent agents that can detect, analyze, and respond to security threats in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM-based security agents for our agentic security services platform
• Fine-tune and optimize large language models for security-specific tasks
• Create robust evaluation frameworks to measure model performance and security effectiveness
• Implement techniques to ensure model safety, reliability, and alignment with security objectives
• Collaborate with security experts to translate domain knowledge into effective AI solutions
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI research and apply relevant innovations
• Work closely with the engineering team to integrate LLM capabilities into our platform

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with large language models or other advanced AI systems
• Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, or related fields
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimization techniques
• Understanding of AI safety, alignment, and evaluation methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex AI concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience in cybersecurity or related fields
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF)
• Familiarity with multi-agent AI systems
• Experience deploying ML models in production environments
• Background in security research or threat intelligence
• Contributions to open-source AI projects
• Experience working in a startup environment
