About the role
Drive sales strategy and execution for our innovative ITSM/ITOM automation platform, focusing on enterprise clients seeking next-generation service management solutions. You'll spearhead market penetration in the enterprise automation space while building strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth. This role reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for enterprise ITSM/ITOM automation solutions
- Lead complex sales cycles from prospect identification through contract closure with enterprise accounts
- Build and nurture relationships with enterprise IT leaders, CIOs, and service management executives
- Identify market gaps and customer pain points in existing service management implementations
- Collaborate with product teams to align solution development with market demands
- Establish thought leadership through industry events, webinars, and executive roundtables
- Drive pipeline development through strategic networking, referrals, and industry connections
- Partner with technical teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations and POCs
- Mentor and scale sales processes as the company grows
Requirements
- 8+ years enterprise technology sales experience with consistent quota achievement
- 5+ years specializing in ITSM/ITOM solutions and enterprise service management
- Must have previous experience selling ITSM products to enterprise customers
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT operations, automation challenges, and digital transformation initiatives
- Proven track record selling complex technology solutions to C-level executives
- Existing network within enterprise IT service management community
- Experience with modern automation platforms and emerging technologies
- Strong consultative selling approach with ability to identify customer business driver
- Self-starter comfortable in high-growth startup environment
