Employees get answers without opening a ticket
A complete HR service application, not a chatbot. It answers policy questions from your own handbook, runs onboarding and offboarding end to end, processes leave and data changes, and keeps every case documented — so your team handles the sensitive work, not the repeat questions.
01What it does
What it handles, end to end
The requests and cases an HR team fields every day, from a quick policy question to a full onboarding.
Answer from the handbook
Answers leave, benefits, and policy questions grounded in your own handbook — not a generic model's guess.
Run onboarding
Assembles the onboarding checklist, requests accounts, books sessions, and tracks acknowledgements to done.
Run offboarding
Works the exit checklist — access revoked, equipment returned, final steps recorded — nothing left open.
Process leave
Takes a leave request, checks balance and eligibility, and files it in your HRIS on the employee's behalf.
Update employee data
Handles address, manager, and role changes through conversation, so nobody navigates an HRIS portal.
Keep the case documented
Every request becomes a case with its history, so a sensitive matter has a clean record from open to close.

02In action
Watch it work a case
Ask it about an employee request and it works the way your HR team would — checking policy, taking the action, and keeping the record.
Ask it anything
- How much parental leave do we offer?
- Start onboarding for the new hire in HR-311
- Process the PTO request in HR-309
- Which onboarding tasks are overdue?
- Draft the offer letter for the Ops role
Reads your handbook · Files in your HRIS · Documents the case
How much parental leave do we offer?
16 weeks paid, for this employee.
Your handbook offers 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave after 12 months of service, and this employee qualifies. It can be taken any time in the first year. I can start the leave request and file it in Workday if they're ready.

04Integrations
Connected to the systems HR already runs on
Every connection declares exactly what it may do, so the application files in your HRIS and posts to one channel and nothing beyond that.
05The change
The routine work answers itself
Before
Every question is a ticket in a queue
- A leave-policy question waits a day for a reply
- Onboarding is a spreadsheet worked by hand
- Data changes mean an employee fights an HRIS portal
- The HR team spends its day on repeat questions
With Cenna
The routine work answers itself
- Policy answered instantly from your own handbook
- Onboarding assembled and tracked to done
- Leave and data changes filed on the employee's behalf
- The HR team freed for the cases that need a person
06Why it works
Built on your policies, not another portal
Your handbook becomes the playbook, questions get answers instead of ticket numbers, and it connects to the HR systems you already run.
Your policies become playbooks
Leave rules, onboarding steps, approval chains — written as plain-language playbooks your HR team reads and maintains. When policy changes, you edit a page, not a vendor request.
Questions don’t become tickets
An employee asks, the answer arrives — grounded in your handbook, on the spot. Only the exceptions ever reach a person, so there is no queue to manage.
Works with your HR systems
Connects to Workday, HiBob, Rippling, or whatever you run — reading and writing through scoped integrations, usually in a day, with no rip-and-replace.
And underneath it all: a real Cenna application — running in your cloud, code you own, every model call and dollar metered.About the platform →
07FAQ
Common questions
Is employee data safe?
Yes. The application runs in your own cloud account and connects to your HRIS with a scoped grant. Employee data stays where your business already keeps it — nothing is copied to Cenna.
Does it replace our HR team?
No. It clears the repeat questions and the checklist work so your team can spend its time on the sensitive, human cases. When something needs judgment, it escalates with the case documented.
Whose policies does it answer from?
Yours. It answers from the handbook and documents you load, so "our parental leave policy" means yours, with the tenure and location rules applied — not a generic answer.
Can we keep a human in the loop?
Yes. Anything you choose — a manager change, a sensitive case, anything above a threshold — waits for a named person to approve, and the approval is recorded on the case.
How is spend controlled?
Like every Cenna application — token and cloud cost is metered per task and per user, models are approved centrally, and every run is traced and priced.
See it run a real onboarding.
Thirty minutes: bring a new-hire scenario and a page of your handbook, and we'll show the application answer the policy questions and work the onboarding to done.
